Water Rates
#1
I received my water rates today and thought it was an error when I saw that the amount due was LESS than last year. When was the last time that happened?
Ok, so it`s only £14 less - but it still feels like a bonus.

Perhaps THIS year`s pension rise will cover the total increases. We live in hope.[Sad]

I switched to as meter in April last year. I was paying £600 a year, currently it's working out at around £360.

Ha, ha, unbelievably no, Jim. That £600 was the fixed rates for our house based on the council tax band it is in. It just got too much for the 2 of us so I switched to meter in April last year and have been pleasantly surprised aat the lower bills.

Got ours today current charges £468 a drop of £13
have often wondered if a meter would reduce this but always hesitant to change, anyone else with experience of this ?

Same here. I`ve thought about it several times but have never gained enough info to make a reasoned decision.
