Cheers Tony. We will more than likely field our fringe players against PNE. I would like to think that we can concentrate on the league but it will be a big day out for the PNE faithful even if we do field the 2nd team !

I assure you it won't be a big day out for PNE faithful.
It's a big disappointment, we really wanted a big team at home preferably.

Noel, He couldn`t be covering himself in case of defeat ,could he? It rather looks that way to me. Don`t worry, we have a better chance of meeting a decent team as the competition progresses.

I think the premiership's millions wigan have been given by sky will play a major part Jim. It's an uneven playing field and in any other business the OFT would intervene. Although I have written directly to the OFT complaining about unfair competition, I received a garbled gobbledegook letter that didn't really say much except they weren't going to do anything about it. And when I look a the unpronounceable names of many of the wigan players I can only say thank heaven I support a team of British players and not one from the United Nations.
