Hi everyone I am new to the forum too - I'm 26 and have lived in Leyland pretty much all my life. Prompted to join when I saw Dave's a member!
Hi Dave, you taught me to drive about 9 years ago (along with many others!) and you were the best driving instructor ever, took me out in icy weather and everything, taught me how to refuel and under the bonnet things, so now I have no trouble at all in the bad weather and no accidents in nearly ten years (caused by me!). Thank you very much and glad to know yourself and Gill are well and happy - I did hear a while back you'd emigrated somewhere.
I know quite a few who learn to drive now (and pass a test) and have never been out in the dark let alone rain or ice or anything. My fiancee had never refuelled a car after 9 years of driving and didn't know how to do it until I showed him!

Maybe it wasnt him then as it was in Leyland. The guy in question has always been Bernard Mann to me ! Maybe I have the wrong man ( Pardon the pun ! ) This guy lives on Leyfield Rd and used to live on Balshaw Crescent ! Maybe I am getting confused ! I did however go to school with Susan, Martin can confirm that !

Hi Gemma, glad you have joined our happy band on Leyland Forum, you are a credit to driving, I`m so glad you found the time to complement me, it brought a lump in my throat, thank you for that praise, it made my 25 years of driving instruction worthwhile,yes Gill persuaded me to have a retirement on the lovely island of Crete, the largest of the Greek islands, and we have had 5 years of happy retirement in our olive grove, just chilling out growing veg olives oranges etc, we have a small bungalow with 2000 sq mtrs of land, a far cry from my old life but very enjoyable and relaxing in the sun. my mobile is (edited) if you want to text then you can get our e-mail address.
