I'm mystified about the GBH too - Brian Leatherbarrow taught me Science in my first year but left to teach elsewhere - I met him again in the late 70's , he was a lecturer at Chorley Teacher Training College . He was divorced at the time and eventually married a girl in the same group as my wife . He has lived in Bolton for the last 30 years and died last year .
Sure it was him John ?

I left Balshaws in 1977, some of the names you mention I have never heard of but Mrs Pickersgill and Stan Black I do remember. Miss Wane is the only name I recognise from Fox Lane though. I visited Balshaws a few years ago and although a lot of the build has changed it still prompted many memories.
I left Balshaws in 77 too. My name was Christine Holland. When I started I was in 1D ( Not streamed ) Came from Woodlea too. People in my year wer Liz Allen,Andrew Allen,
David Caterall,Katherine Lamb. Remember any of them ?

You need to join a free image hosting site first such as photobucket.com (or google free image hosting if you don't like photobucket) and download the image on to the site. Have you got access to one?

Photobucket works well, but I've forgotten how. Please refresh my memory.

Log in to your photobucket program, if the photo you want to share on the forum is there, click on it, and the photo will be enlarged and the 4 links displayed on the right of it. Copy the direct link which wil be http:blahblahblah.jpg then in the forum click on "reply to topic" a series of boxes above the message is ahown, click on the 4th from the right which brings up [img.][/img.] then paste the URL between them, must end in jpg. If the image isn't already in photobox, click on the upload button and follow the instructions.

I think Graham Jackson used to play the organ at the Lostock Hall Labour Club back in the late sixties early seventies.

I worked with Graham Jacksons dad Tom, he was a joiner with me at A M Tomlinsons he was also a part time Funeral Director in Eccleston. Tom was immensely proud of Graham and his success.
