That's an interesting web-site, Noel. I'm assuming it to be a work in progress, as the total amount of info is quite limited.
For additional interest, I came across a book last time I was in Leyland. It's in a series called "The Archive Photographs Series" and titled "Leyland". The photos were compiled by David Hunt and William Waring. The book is published by The Chalford Publishing Company, St. Mary's Mill, Stroud, Glos. GL6 8NX. It contains over 200 photos, mainly from the pre-WWII era, but a few into the mid-50's.

I've 1881 transcribed census returns on cdrom and 1891 census for Lancashire. If you would like to see who was resident in a house/building on these dates drop me a note and I'll see if I can find anything.
