I was doing some research on old buildings in Leyland and came across this URL which I would like to pass on to anyone who's interested.

That's an interesting web-site, Noel. I'm assuming it to be a work in progress, as the total amount of info is quite limited.
For additional interest, I came across a book last time I was in Leyland. It's in a series called "The Archive Photographs Series" and titled "Leyland". The photos were compiled by David Hunt and William Waring. The book is published by The Chalford Publishing Company, St. Mary's Mill, Stroud, Glos. GL6 8NX. It contains over 200 photos, mainly from the pre-WWII era, but a few into the mid-50's. Frank Damp Anacortes, WA, USA

Leyland resident 1941-1965, emigrated to the US in 1968, retired to Anacortes, Washington State, USA in 1999.
