[:I]Kay Purcel (who was Pauline Kay) lived in Leyland (and has recently returned) played Cynthia in Emmerdale a few years ago. Went to Wellfield with me.
Also Mick Salmon, also ex-Wellfield head boy - went on to play professional football (as a goalkeeper)Chester, Stockport County, Charlton Athletic etc - I think he is now training golkeepers for Arsenal.

went to school with the willis girls, linda older sister of cherly still lives in Leyland with her family, she and Cherly look like twins, they were all good looking girls and great fun to be around.

My nephew just won Apprentice of the Year at some big do in London. He works for Schawns somewhere up moss side. Not big on the famous scale but well done Jonathon Pearson.
